Luxor over day by bus

                                                              9361

We travel along Luxor, divided into two by the great river Nile on the sides of the living and the dead. Karnak temple - a complex in the image of which contributed more than 30 rulers of ancient Egypt. The main sanctuary of the god Amon-Ra and the place of mythical creatures - the avenue of sphinxes, a scarab beetle, fulfilling desires, the goddess Sekhmet with the head of a lion and a sacred lake. Here the average person is like a grain of sand, too grandiose is the memory of people and gods in stone and wall paintings. Look at the statues of Ramses, the colonnade where you can get lost, the perfect pylon of the Khonsu temple – Not anywhere in the world will you find such an amazing architecture and sculpture. Free the memory of your cameras, here you can take stunning shots of eternity.

Next we will go to the Colossi of Memnon. Millennia and earthquakes failed to destroy the guardians of the past, each weighing about 700 tons and a height of 20 meters. From there we'll visit the temple of the most powerful, contradictory, influential and, according to historians, the stunningly beautiful queen Hatshepsut. Three levels of terraces cut out of the rock, the dedication of the Amon-Ra, the queen herself and her awe-inspiring accomplishments. Imagine its greatness can only pass along the painted walls, bas-reliefs, sculptures on which hundreds of masters worked. Thutmose III tried to erase Hatshepsut from history and from the walls of the temple, but history cannot be changed. The great queen left a luxurious legacy still available to the modern man. Great and significant women are buried in the Valley of the Queens - the necropolis of ancient Egypt. We will go to all of these places and then back to Hurghada.
